M00-Restoration successfully finished

In 2025, a crack in the flywheel was found in our smallest Glowhead engine type M00.

There was no other option than to remove the flywheel and have it welded.
For this the entire engine had to be disassembled, as the flywheel is tapered on the crankshaft, the crankshaft also had to be included in the repair of the flywheel, so that both remain close to each other cleanly.
After the flywheel had been repaired, the assembly could be started.

During the test run it turned out that the engine stopped immediately after starting. This was caused by the fact that the flywheel is now not exactly in the same place on the crankshaft as before, causing the regulator flange to cut off the fuel supply too soon.

The solution was found in an extension of the rods that run from the regulator weights in the flywheel to the flange.

After this, the M00 was running like a charm again!
